Kentucky Office of Homeland Security cyber training across the state

Cybersecurity Coordinator Colin Glover, with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Kentucky (Region IV), will lead the presentations.

Social Engineering Awareness is a basic course intended to help individuals identify the tactics used by cyber criminals to gain unauthorized access to devices. 

This training also will include a discussion about cyber hygiene best practices to help keep you safe at work, home and on the road.

Cybersecurity Coordinator Colin Glover, with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Kentucky (Region IV), will lead the presentations.

Whether you work for a county that has a cybersecurity awareness program or not, this will provide an opportunity for staff members to get needed training.

Sessions will be held:

  • June 3 - Jenny Wiley State Park in Prestonsburg, 9 a.m.
  • June 17 - Cumberland Valley Area Development District in London, 1 p.m.
  • June 25 – Kentuckiana Regional Planning and Development Agency in Louisville, 1 p.m.
  • July 10 - Purchase Area Development District in Mayfield, 1 p.m.
  • July 22 - Northern Kentucky Area Development District in Florence, 1 p.m.
