Formed in 1978 as the Commonwealth's first Governmental Association Workers Compensation Fund, the KACo Workers Compensation Fund provides competitive workers compensation coverage for county governments and political subdivisions.

The program maintains a 24-hour dedicated claims service, as well as safety & loss control services.
