What is artificial intelligence and what is it not?

Participants will learn:

Class 2: Building Responsible AI Policy for Your County

As AI adoption increases, counties must establish clear governance frameworks to ensure responsible, ethical, and compliant use. This session walks participants through the key components of developing and implementing an AI policy tailored to county government operations. We will explore legal, ethical, transparency, procurement, and risk management considerations.

Participants will learn:

This hands-on session focuses on practical, responsible ways counties can use AI to increase efficiency and effectiveness across departments. We will explore real-world examples and demonstrate how AI can support staff, not replace them.
