This Safety Day training will provide participants with practical, foundational knowledge to help strengthen workplace safety and health practices. Attendees will learn the basic requirements of 29 CFR 1904, including proper injury and illness recordkeeping, reporting requirements, and how to use OSHA Forms 300, 300A, and 301 and equivalent forms. The program will also cover the essential steps for conducting an effective workplace accident investigation, including the use of root cause analysis to identify contributing factors and help prevent future incidents. In addition, participants will learn how to recognize common workplace hazards and distinguish between safety and health hazards, providing those with limited safety and health expertise with practical tools to identify and address potential risks in the workplace.
