KACo Leadership Institute: Opioid Solutions

This full-day training provided critical updates from the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission (KYOAAC) on reporting requirements, best practices, and funding opportunities. Experts like Dallas Hurley from Volunteers of America Mid-States guided attendees through strategies for making their communities Recovery Ready, ensuring funds are used to create lasting impact.
The Kentucky Youth Advocates team presented the Opioid Dashboard, showing how to translate data into actionable solutions. Adam Trosper from KORE discussed ways to supplement programs for maximum impact, while Elizabeth Harney addressed stigma surrounding substance use disorder and recovery.
