A proper understanding of Kentucky’s procurement requirements is a necessary for local government officials.  Participants in this training will get a taste of cooperative purchasing, the state price contract, the local government portion of the Model Procurement Code and KRS 424.260.  Upon completion, attendees should better understand the various statutory procurement options, the bidding process and small purchase procedures.
