Webinar recap: Opioid settlement fund reporting portal

By Sydney Blodgett, Member Engagement Manager
Counties are required to submit an annual report via a new online system.

Counties and local governments across Kentucky have updated guidelines for fulfilling their opioid settlement reporting obligations and a newly launched online portal managed by the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission. The new system took effect July 1, 2025, giving local governments a method for more effectively tracking and reporting how opioid settlement funds are being used in their community.

During a July 22, 2025 informational webinar hosted by KACo, the Commission provided a detailed walkthrough of the portal and requirements for the FY2025 (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025) report. Local governments in Kentucky must submit their reports through the portal by Aug. 31, 2025.

For additional guidance, contact Jessica Bowman at the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission by calling 502-696-5393 or email KYOAACreporting@ky.gov.
