In a reverse auction, sellers place bids for the amount they are willing to be paid for their goods or services, and at the end of the auction, the seller bidding the lowest dollar amount wins.
Kentucky counties must bid for anything more than $30,000, and for most counties, that includes purchasing road salt. It’s our intent to help you get the most salt for your money, because we know that winters are unpredictable. We want you to be as prepared as possible.
