New guidance from U.S. Treasury released on the use of American Rescue Plan Act funding

Today, the U.S. Department of Treasury released new guidance on the State and Local Coronavirus Fiscal Recovery Fund (Recovery Fund), part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
This includes $867.8 million in direct aid to Kentucky counties. The new guidance includes official funding amounts by county, which you can see here and detailed guidance on how funding must be spent, which you can access here.

Additionally, the U.S. Treasury opened a new portal that counties must use to receive Fiscal Recovery Funds - learn more here.  

Today, May 10, the U.S. Treasury and the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs will host two identical 30-minute introductory briefings on the new guidance. The briefings will be held today, May 10, at 4:00 p.m. EDT (register here) and 6:45 p.m. EDT
