- The Commitment Coalition: A leadership and peer learning network for up to 20 local leaders committed to achieving economic resilience and revitalization in coal communities. Leaders will participate in peer exchange site visits, a learning series and in-person workshops.
- The Action Challenge: A technical assistance program for up to 15 coal community teams. Selected participants will receive coaching and capacity-building support to develop an economic diversification strategy.
ABOUT BRECC
The National Association of Counties (NACo), in partnership with The West Virginia Community Development Hub, Community Builders and EntreWorks Consulting, launched the Building Resilient Economies in Coal Communities (BRECC) initiative on Nov. 3, 2022.
BRECC is a community of practice supported by the U.S. Economic Development Administration and guided by an advisory council.
