EMS Director, Nelson County Fiscal Court
The EMS director is responsible for the overall management and operation of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Department. This includes the development and implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines, budgeting and fiscal management, personnel management, quality assurance, and community relations.
Additionally, the director is responsible for ensuring the department provides high-quality patient care and services in a cost-effective manner, obligated to ensure that the administration of EMS programs maintains compliance in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of seven-10 years experience in emergency medical services, with at least three years in a management or supervisory role.
This person must meet the responsibilities previously mentioned, as well as effectively communicate with other members of the EMS team and other departments within the Nelson County Fiscal Court.
